Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Er... more like "Odd GIRL Out."

Has anyone seen "Boy Meets World"? (( ancient, I know. <_<; )) . . . I sorta feel like Shawn right now. Like trailer trash. Booted out. Replaced by someone else. But I know it's all just in my head. I'm comparing my life to a TV SERIES, OHGEEZ.

I wish I had a subscription just for the polls right now.

I've been wondering, I've got art other than Pokemon laying around. Like, _some_ realism and my own crazy-mind doodles. They're not uploaded because I've been afraid of art theft or some accusing that I'm not original, but I guess I've got to get over it. Nobody would want to steal my junk anyhoo.

I was looking at some old stuff the other day and GEEZ. WHY DO YOU PEOPLE WATCH ME? Also, my OpenCanvas has been fixed (( mostly ))! It's still got some bugs 'n' whatnot, but at least I can draw again. I think my hand's gotten shaky over time, though, boo-hoo. :C AND D00d. College is LAAAAAID-BAAAAACK, it... it scares me. o__O BUT PLEASE! Tell me what you'd like to see more of, fweeee. :3~

I've actually got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon now, I got it as what you'd call an "early Christmas present." <_< It is SUCH an addicting game! @_@ I was turned into an Eevee, which according to personality types, I'm a hyper-active, adorably curious and naive thing, teehee. :3 Who did you get turned into, and who was your partner?
